Cessna Citation I & I/SP
650 Pound Gross Weight Increase

The Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) described in this literature provides an increase of 650 pounds in the useful load carried by the Citation I. This is accomplished by raising takeoff and ramp weight limitations and reducing the maximum zero fuel weight. It offers business jet owners and pilots a cost efficient way to improve the utility of their aircraft.

Until now the Citation I has had one major drawback -with full fuel you were limited to carrying no more than 4 passengers. Our new STC removes this restriction by increasing the useful load by 650 pounds. New Flight makes the Citation I a truly great airplane.

"Does This Compromise Performance At Lighter Weights?"

Not at all! If the zero fuel weight (ZFW) is more than 9,100 pounds, the flight can be conducted at a maximum takeoff weight of 11,850 lbs., which is the standard Citation weight limit.

*Equivalent Life For Aircraft With Pre-Mod Landings

Airplanes which have landings prior to the modifications have the number of pre-mod landings reduced by an equivalent post-mod life as shown in the following example:

Example
An airplane with 1000 landings recorded in its log book installs the New Flight increased ramp and takeoff modification. The nose gear assembly (P.N. 5542000-4 & 7) is now limited to 19,600 full stop landings before replacement. However, because the 1000 landings were pre-mod landings, the equivalent life is 688 landings. Each landing after the modification must be counted as a full landing, and added to the 688 total.

If the airplane had 1700 landings prior to modifica-tions, the equivalent life would be ratioed as follows:
1170 landings would be entered in the aircraft log books in place of the 1700 landings, and each subsequent landing would be counted as a full landing. The nose gear assembly would be replaced when a total of 19,600 full stop landings was recorded.
